He has been working in the professional sphere since 15 years, three professional educations: cook of 4 levels, catering technologist and the Institute of Technological Management in Taganka. In 2014 he worked together with Sergey Berezutsky in the restaurant "How to Eat".
His love for Italian cuisine began with the Gourmet Alliance chain of restaurants. In 2020, Dmitry headed a joint project of Arkady Novikov and il FORNO Group, Cheesefarm in Gorky Park. The chef made small changes to the already familiar menu of the chain, adapting it only slightly to the location, because the format of recreation in the park implies serenity and simplicity - here you want to completely relax and get away from the rhythm of the big city for a while.
The restaurant focuses on soft cheeses from its own production: mozzarella, burrata, ricotta, scamorza, camembert, cacciotta and more. All the local cheeses can be tasted - the theme section is at the heart of the menu.
Dmitry Gerashchenko's style is characterised by creative presentations, dynamism and the symbiosis of gastronomic cultures. The chef respects local products and seeks to highlight their natural flavours.
Cheesefarm in Gorky Park is located on the territory of the main park of the capital, is designed for 375 seats, 260 of which are located on a huge veranda with wicker furniture, located between the trunks of large trees, with a mesmerising view of the park and the pond, the restaurant also welcomes guests in two indoor halls. The room on the ground floor is the "Parquet Hall", spacious and bright, which has preserved its historical appearance, with oak parquet flooring, a light and laconic interior, immersed in greenery, with large panoramic windows overlooking the park area, creating the right atmosphere for relaxation and rest in nature. The bar area serves aromatic coffees, teas and hot drinks. The hall has a separate entrance and is ideal for events and banquets of all sizes. The hall on the first floor - with a panoramic view of the park, with a light and laconic, but at the same time very stylish interior, the abundance of greenery supports the right atmosphere of relaxation and rest in nature.
