Maria Mikhalkova
Maria Mikhalkova was born and raised in Novosibirsk. She graduated from NETI as a Catering Technologist. After her studies Maria became a chef at the Avocado Queen in Novosibirsk, and in 2022 she became a chef at Cheesefarm restaurant.
Maria Mikhalkova's philosophy is simple: an active lifestyle, where the chef pays special attention to sport, namely kickboxing; and a favourite business, where the key to success is a fresh, high-quality product.
«The cuisine should be light but rich. Our main task is to create a pleasant atmosphere and to transmit the culture of Italy» - says Maria.
Cheesefarm is a rustic Italian-style restaurant with panoramic windows, wood and greenery in the interior, divided into several halls, with its own cheese factory, where 12 kinds of cheese and cottage cheese are produced, its own pastry shop, dishes cooked in a wood-fired oven - all this is the key to the cosy atmosphere of the restaurant. The restaurant has three rooms. The main one, with 128 seats, has an open kitchen, a contact bar and a children's room with a nanny. A smaller room with about 70 seats, where guests can relax in a more informal atmosphere. And the VIP room, with a maximum capacity of 15, is completely private, with a separate washroom and windows overlooking the cheese-making process. At weekends, the restaurant offers a special chef's menu breakfast from 10am to 2pm. The Novosibirsk Cheesefarm produces mainly young cheeses: mozzarella, burrata, ricotta, halloumi, etc., which can be bought in the shop at the entrance, as well as the author's desserts, freshly baked bread, ripe Uzbek tomatoes, Altai honey and olive oil.
